Alachua Consort Concert and Lecture

The second concert in the 2012-2013 Baroque Chamber Music Series at St. Michael's Episcopal Church will take place Sunday, November 18 at 4pm. The Alachua Consort (Annemieke Pronker-Coron, violin; John Netardus, oboe; Dr. Miriam Zach, organ) will perform German Baroque sonatas by Princess Anna Amalie, Johann Joseph Fux, Johann David Heinichen, Johann Gottlieb Janitsch, and Johann Joachim Quantz. 

Immediately following the concert Dr. Mikesch Muecke will present a paper about St. Michael's Episcopal Church that he gave on October 18, 2012 at the Annual Meeting 2012 of SESAH (Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians) in Athens, Georgia. The paper is entitled "How to Connect with the Sky and the Land: A Case Study of a 1975 Schweizer Associates Architects of the Environmental Design Group Building in North Central Florida." 

Admission to the concert and architectural presentation is free. 

Donations are welcome to St. Michael's Episcopal Church.
